The Edelrid Mega Jul belay set is designed for lead belaying, bringing up one or two followers, and rappelling during rock climbing and mountaineering. Its abrasion-resistant stainless steel construction offers long-lasting durability. The increased braking effect assists the belayer when catching a leader's fall, while the thumb-operated mechanism allows faster rope payout. An additional eyelet helps release the device in guide mode when bringing up a follower. The set includes a locking carabiner.
